Student Learning Recovery provides special education reading tutoring combined with Visual /Perceptual therapy, and cognitive brainskills training. Our special type of tutoring combines a variety of multi-sensory programs specifically designed to benefit students with reading and learning disorders. Students enjoy fun, educational, Visual Perceptual procedures, challenging memory games and critical skill building exercises, all while rebuilding crucial learning skills. Exercises and tutoring lessons are also prescribed for home practice to expedite progress Almost all programs are designed to retrain the brain how to learn. Our unique and therapeutic type visual/auditory memory games,learning skills exercises, and visual motor tasks improve visual/perceptual and cognitive skills needed for efficient learning We also implement reading, spelling, and multi-sensory phonics tutoring during therapy with specific programs for students with Dyslexia and other reading difficulties. These programs improve decoding,fluency and comprehension. All these enjoyable and effective techniques have a strong impact on reading and learning skills.
